XKD517 - Restoring History |
|
In 1958 an upcoming young driver, Jim Clark, spent a season in XKD517 clocking up 12 wins in 20 races for the Border-Reivers team. Working from archives and period photographs we have restored XKD517 back to its early original character with great attention to the finishing details. “Today XKD517 looks exactly as it did the first time I saw it in pristine condition in the paddock at Oulton Park 50 years ago” - Graham Gauld for Octane Magazine |

Jaguar’s ‘low-drag’ C-Types for the 1952 Le Mans were a rare failure for the factory. All 3 cars subsequently had their special bodywork destroyed and the cars returned to production C-Type specification. Working from period photographs and historical research we have endeavored to recreate a missing piece of Jaguar’s heritage with highly acclaimed results. |

Jaguar Lightweight E-Type - 4 WPD |
|
Severely damaged in 2006 at the Goodwood Revival The project finally started in the latter part of 2008. Alongside the repair work and with consultation from Peter Wilson (ex Jaguar Competition Dept. during the LWE era) and Michael Brown (the son of 4WPD’s long term owner Gordon Brown) we have endeavoured to return the car back to its 1963 (phase 3) era, including restoring and refitting original components from that period that have stayed with the car throughout its life. The first of the 12 ‘lightweight’ aluminium car to be built. Famous drivers include Roy Salvadori, Graham Hill, Jack Sears, Dan Gurney, Michael MacDowel and Jackie Stewart. |
